[Butterfly]

Hiya,

How you do it?  Make a gif that is!

I think I understand the principle involved.........you put one piccy on top of another....kinda like a stip of film.....but.......say for example I have a picture already, let's say it's a flower but I want to make the centre of the flower twinkle like a star....how do I do this?  Where do I get the stuff from to do it?...do I need to make the star and save it in seperate images?...if so how do I get that image into piccy of flower without the edges showing in the star piccy   :brick:

There's loads of software thet will do it Butterfly but ulead is the easiest i've found to use for simple gif animations. Its exactly as you say....place one image over the next  

If I'm ever lucky enough to be on messenger as the same time as you i will give you some pointers  ;)took me ages to get my fav programme back using XP

Much appreciated.  I can't quite figure it out.........but then when I was doing one of the quizzes on here.....it said if you were normal you would think of a carrot......guess what I thought of?....a Cauliflower  :kid:...no I'm not kidding...oh maybe I should have said I have another annoying habit....I talk to myself but then doesn't everyone!....see what I mean
