Simon, you said you wanted lights
HERE
is a little article on blue LED fans, they're easy to install / replace original ones and they do make a boring case a little different.
I've got a multi colour one in the top of the case and will have a blue one on the side, when I put the window in 8).

Yeah, cool looking kit! Trouble is, my PC is stuffed under a desk, so any pretty lights would be hard to spot, unless they're on the front! I like your front panel display!

I cut 3 extra holes in this case, ok two were already perforated (but that is a restriction to airflow) and another BIG hole is planned >
