Mobile Ringtones
« on: March 05, 2004, 23:14 »
I have bought a new mobile today - a Nokia 3510i.  Can anyone recommend a good site for downloading ringtones?  The polyphonic ones are nice, and no, they don't go "Polly put the kettle on!"   ;D

Well, I've downloaded a few of them, and they are quite good.  :D  The only thing I'm now wondering is have I let myself in for a bombardment of spam texts on my mobile?  Is there a catch to these?  Why are they free, when most other sites charge £1.50 per ringtone, and sometimes up to £4.50!?  :o  You don't usually get anything for nothing in this life!   ;D

I've been searching all night and I still can't find a decent version of the one I want: Rush - Spirit Of Radio.  How cool would that be!   8)

Some sites just charge you over the top cause they want to make money. Others get their money else where  :)

You can find monophonic versions of Spirit, Shell, but they are crap!  They don't even sound like the same tune, and I've been finding that lots of sites have the same ringtones on them.  I now have the operatic section from Bohemian Rhapsody - something of a classic!   ;D ;D
