tell me, whats the max hard drive my motherboard ( http://www.asrock.com/product/product_k7vt2.htm ) will support with the K7VT2 1.2 bios? cause i bought a 120 gig drive and both the windows installer and the maxtor formatting software found only 32 gigs. :-\

Have a look at the jumpers on the back of the drive Measter, it sounds as if you have got the "Limit the drive to 32 gig" jumper set in place as I should think that your mobo will definately see a 120 gig drive without any problem.
Also check in the bios that its set to auto detect the drives  :)

Have a look here Measter :

http://service.maxtor.com/rightnow/images/maxtor_quantum%20jumpers.htm

It shows how the Maxtor and Quantum drives jumpers should be set.
The limit to 32 gig is the CLJ one  :)
