Hello and :welcome:

Full installation instructions can be found:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q221/8/29.asp&NoWebContent=1

You will probably want to create a bootdisk (to allow you to access the CD). These can be found over on www.bootdisk.com. Boot with the floppy disc in the floppy drive and the Win98 CD in the CD drive. When the machine boots then you can 'fdisk' your hard drive - to create partitions. Then format them and finally install Win98 from the CD.

As soon as you have got it installed - set up your internet connection and download all the patches :)

You may also want to download and install spybot, adaware, a virus scanner and a firewall.

hey promised the earth! Then delivered mud.
Technically it did meet the spec.

As Dack says,

You need to start with a Windows 98 bootdisk from http://www.bootdisk.com

Also this link may be useful

Hope that helps

Just a hint, there's a 'Notification' button on here, which you can use to keep track of answers to your posts, if you're having trouble finding the thread again.   :)
