keyboard installation

i formatted my pc and put xp pro on the other day and because i was in a rush i think i set the keyboard up american (the @ sign is shift and 2 and i dont know half of the other keys)

is there any way i can change this without having to forat?

Go to Control Panel then Region and Language Options then Languages then Details.
Add the english UK one and delete the enlish USA one.
It will tell you it cant delete the USA one until you reboot as its in use.
Click apply and then reboot and everything should be normal again  :)
