Heatsink Question

this new hs + fan i just bought, had a power socket on it, well like a splitter, i think its basically incase u used all sockets of ya psu, anyway i plugged it in to one of the psu power plugs, but as its a spare the other don't plug in to nothing like, cd rom etc .. is that ok? also whats the average temp for a amd 2000+?

Should be no problems - just get a Geforce 5900 graphics card then you'll have a use for it :)

The Athlons tend to run in the 40 to 55 range IIRC.

Technically it did meet the spec.

Yer mine seems to stay on 48 ish lol .. although it's a closed case, the psu got 2 fans and my gfx has a fan, but no nase fans at all.
