Whilst no single test could possibly guarantee complete security,
Jason's Toolbox
provides a very useful way of determining whether your system is vulnerable to a number of the methods used to hi-jack Browsers.

In the old days of using IE, I used to use
Cookie Wall
, which I found very good. Now, of course, I don't need it as Mozilla has it's own Cookie Manager built in.
