Varies from mobo to mobo but probably something like C/Cmos.
Its usually near to the battery, but not always, and has 2 postions therefore 3 pins.
Just place it in the opposite position to what its in now for a few seconds then put it back to the normal postion.
Actually if its in the clear position, someone may have left it set that way for some reason, that would give you the sypmtoms you are getting too.
It would be a good idea to have a look at the mobo and see if you can identify it and check out where the normal run position is in the manual which would be available from the mobo manufacturers site
