Depends on size of video!
I suppose the easist way to distribute it would be to set up PC as a server. That way you could control who gets what when. I'm sure Sandra can help in that department

Hopefully I should be going on a trip soon & am looking at borrowing a digital camcorder to take with me. Iv got video edtiting software which i want to add background music too etc. Then, so the other people on the trip can see the vid I would like to put it on the net.

I do not have a website or anything & currently use 'photobucket' & other simmilar hosts for any pics but I was wondering if there are any that will hosts videos for free?

Or is there some other way I can do this.

Thanks!

Yes thats probably a better and cheaper way to share files between friends, in fact XP has its own server prog built in which you could use but I found it a bit fiddly to set up the users and permissions and prefer to use WS FTP SERVER which seems a lot easier to set up.
As long as your ISP doesnt cap your usage then you can send and receive as much as your connection can handle  :)

Seems a bargain to me Barra!  But I have a sneaky feeling that we are missing a vital point somewhere along the line otherwise we would be hosting the forum for free.  Adept will have to explain it to us.   ;D

If it was of big enough capacity to host a forum such as Pc-Pals as No 6 believes, the major snag would be that while anyone could view the content of such a website, in order to post they would have to have the username and password of whoever had the Plusnet account in order to be able to post and that would have to be done via FTP using a webpage editor   :o
