Does anyone here use icq? a friend is trying to send me a file but for some reason can't establish a connection. He has tried to send it by email too but that doesn't work either. Any Ideas??

I am on ICQ Whiskas and sometimes antivirus and firewalls prevent the sending of files. My friend who uses her works PC has difficulty receiving files from me as the firewall usually bounces them. I don't think it likes my face

Just be a bit careful, Whiskers, especially if you have disabled your anti-virus. Can you be certain it was not blocking
because
the file might have been a virus?

I received a warning that viruses were being transferred through ICQ. I very seldom use it for that reason. I didn't mean you to turn them off Whiskas, sorry about that
