Ah, you're looking for the Holy Grail of CD burners, which I have been trying to find for months! The reason you get a gap when burning MP3s is that there is a 0.075 second space at the beginning of every MP3 file. Don't ask me why, there just is (but I expect someone could tell us). In Nero, you could try using the cross fader between each track, setting it to about 15 frames. You should then a smoother transition between tracks, but it will still be noticable, like a 'dip', rather than a 'gap'. The only alternative CD Burner I have found which tries very hard, and
almost[/b] gets it right, is Acoustica, which you can get a free trial version of
here. You can set it to leave no gap between tracks, which it does, but you still hear a click when you play the CD.
If anyone else has a better solution, I would also be grateful to hear it.
I'm finding quite a few downloads now in FLAC format, which Nero will burn perfectly, with no gaps, but they are easily 10 times the size of MP3 files, and you have to get a FLAC plugin for Nero, which you can find easily enough by searching Google.
