Computer Shutsdown While Playing Americas Army?

Hey everyone my computer keeps shuting down while im playing Americas army and it reboots checked all wires none are loose. Cant figure out why?

Can you give us a few more details about your PC?  Which OS?  What are your basic specs?  Is your graphics card, and the rest of your system up to the performance level required for the game?

130 GB free space on drive
VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP video card 64 MB
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+ 2.1 GHz
448 MB RAM
IDE-CD R/RW 48XC
have directx7 ??? think that could be it currently downloading 9.0(requires 8.1)


Minimum Reqs:

3-D graphics card with 64 MB memory and support for hardware transformation and lighting

1.3 GHz processor or equivalent

English version of Windows(r) 98/ME/2000/XP Operating System

256 MB RAM

1.62GB of uncompressed hard disk space for game files

Well, I'm no expert, and hopefully one of our more technical people might be able to help you more, but I think I would start by updating my DirectX (I think it's 9b now), and then make sure I had the latest drivers installed for my graphics card.

Okay downloaded directx 9 and worked for bout 6 hrs straight last night, but i tried to play it at 1:00 CDt and didnt even get 5 minutes of playing time before it rebooted. If anyone knows what it is or even thinks they know what it is I would really appreciate a response? ??? ???

Am I right to understand that you have four operating sysems on the same PC?

If so, are they all installed on only one HDD?   ::)

Right, I changed it. Sorry didnt notice i left heading for minimum requirements out. Those are the minimum requirements.
