Sometimes I cant see the wood for the trees !   :-[

Problem was solved by re-creating the disc array. It had somehow become corrupted.

Everything working again now  :)

Yes Sandra I am running Serial ATA raid with a striped array with 1 drive. Am thiniking of adding another one if it prooves to be stable.  :-\

I had another BSOD with the same meesage (kernel stack inpage error) shortly after posting that all was ok last night I also heard some clicking coming, i think from the HD so i think it must be on its way out.  ???

Anyway I'm taking it back today (Again)!  :believe:

Will let you know what happens

Well just to say  :thanks: to everyone for their help with my little issue  :). I have eventually had my pc back today with a new motherboard and new RAM. Have been unable to establish exactly what was going on in there but its all change again.

I've now got an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe MOBO that talks to me when i switch the pc on  ::) . I hope it also tells me exactly whats wrong if it decides to play up again  ;D
