Ipod or this one
« on: October 31, 2004, 17:58 »
Opinions please.  :)

I've been doing a little research and found this.

Most reviews say it's just as good as an Ipod but much cheaper. I would value some comments before I actually hit the buy button. It's for son's christmas but thought this deal won't last long so better get in quick while the goings good. :D

Well it depends on your son Lona...

Some youngsters wouldn't be seen dead with anything other than a IPOD  ::)  and others don't mind  8)

I'd try and read between the lines Lona to see if he really wants an IPOD or if another make will do  ;)

This is in the ebuyer specials this week...>> IPOD

If he likes branded things you may be better stretching to the IPOD even if the hard drive is smaller coz i doubt he would be able to fill either of them  ;)

PS. I've not checked the prices and it may possibly be cheaper elsewhere but ebuyer are usually on the ball  :thumb:

Thanks Cammy that helped a good bit.

It would appear that the creative ones pound for pound are better value than Ipod.

I've just discovered that the Zen NX and the Zen xtra are two different models but can't see the differences.

I suppose the Xtra is the later model and that's why the NX is going for much less. :)

I heard someone discussing the Ipod on the radio a couple of nights back and he said that for the same price something else was far better as it had extra stuff it could do for the same price but the Ipod had it on looks and for being "cool".
As usual I have forgotten what the one he suggested in its place was called, hopefully it will come to me later  :)

The ebuyer one is the extra and if you scroll down a reviewer will tell you the difference  ;)

That reviewer is talking about the Zen, which was their first model. I didn't see a reference to the Zen NX.  ???
