error with icon display in Nero, n-Track & Realplayer
« on: November 30, 2004, 07:27 »
Hi, I've been having a problem with my icon display in several programs, i.e. Nero 6 (only Burning Rom, the other parts of the program display fine), n-Track Studio, and Realplayer (the small icons in front of the tracks only) - I'm running Win2k
What happens is that all icons get replaced by one or two of the standard icons, like with n-Track, all buttons are replaced by the "play" button, which is a bit of a pain. The text that displays when you hover over the buttons remains ok. Same problem with Nero. The form of the icons is kept, but all forms are filled sith either a paper-icon, or the "burn" icon
Probably a problem with icon libraries or something, but HOW do I SOLVE it?

If you installed real player last then its probably associated all your music and movie files with it but I cant understand why it should affect only the burning rom part of nero  ???
I havent used or heard of N track so I dont know if thats as bad as real player for taking over your pc.
I would be tempted to uninstall all 3 programs and reinstall them but instead of using real player try real alternative instead as it doesnt have all the junk with it that real player does yet plays all the rm files both audio and movie  :)

As this is a software problem I am moving it into that section.
