looking for a PS2 to USB adaptor ?
« on: November 30, 2004, 21:31 »
I was, as I've only got two USB ports on the back of my Tower [two on the front] And every thing seems to come USB now, so I want the mouse on the PS2 socket

Anyway anbody needing one, you can get them on Ebay £2 delivered, but it takes 7 to 10 days to arrive as they come from Hongkong. http://tinyurl.com/6uud7 The firm sells loads of other USB suff as well. Hiking gear, all sorts, pages and pages of the stuff [mostly repeated]

Hi, Tony.

I don't know if this will be of any use to you, but I only had a total of two USBs on this old PC I am currently using (after the mobo on my main one gave up) and decided to buy a hub.  After searching, I found this company and ended up buying a PCI card with four USBs on it, PLUS a four-port USB hub for the grand total of £13.45.  I ordered it by telephone at 16:30PM Monday (paying by debit card) and it had been delivered when I arrived home from work this evening (Tuesday).

USB Card 2.0 - 4 + 1 PCI Card @ £10.95

Mini 4 port USB Hub - ONLY £2.50 with any purchase over £10

Thanks David,

I considered a set up like that, but I went for the cheaper option. As I cannot see me needing any more rear USB ports, I have a USB modem and an All in One Printer/Scanner/Copier. You wont catch me on a web cam ::) And removeables, such as external USB storage or camera downloads are catered for with the two front USB ports.

But cammy found your link usfull so well done you posting it  :)
