i just wanted to let you guyz know also,
increasing the virtual memory of windows also fixed the problem
i did that and no more restarts :D

I've set mine to 3 x RAM (Min / Max the same), which in my case is 512Mb x 3 = 1536Mb.  I had a lot of shutdown problems, but increasing the VM solved these straight away.

Yeah Simon, that's the general rule of thumb, although there are two schools of thought on the minimum ... and the one I opt for is not to specify a minimum

i have 256 ddr ram
and put my windows virtual memory to initial size 200 mb and max size to 300 mb.i dont really mind gving that much to windows to handle since i have a nice 100 gb hard drive ;D
instead of letting windows figure out the swap file for you,I configured myself,those settings I took them from answer line columnist Lincoln spector from pc world.
