content advisor....IE

hello there.....i cant  open any web page(any) on IE on this comp ,which keeps on bringing up a window with the heading content advisor,stating "this page does not have a rating"..some bright person i presume put a password so that i cant make any changes(its asking for a supervisor password to make any change! >:()
ive tried adding a site to the "trusted sites" section of IE but still keeps on going back to the same window!...sigh!!!...wats happening here?????!!! >:(

If someone has been into Tools/Internet Options/Content and enabled the Content Advisor the only way to disable it would be to have admin status and probably the password that was set when it was enabled unfortunately  :(
You may be able to uninstall IE and reinstall it  ???

arghhhhhh...some people do the dumbest things!!! well lem me talk to the admin and see if he can change it!!! but u said that he will need the password that was put there??? hence if he don no the pswd...he will have to re install it? or since his the admin he can overwrite it??? well ...thanks ..

It may be ok with admin status, I didnt realise that you didnt already have it  :)

It may also be a case of browser hijacking.  Suggest you run Ad Aware, Spybot, and then Hijack This, to see if there's anything which obviously shouldn't be there.  If you haven't a clue what the HJT list means, save the log and post it on here, then someone  (Dack)  ;D  will look at it for you.
