Topic: dvi differances?

i've recently looked into buying a second moniter for my pc, and have been looking for dvi-i to vga adaptors(my graphics card has both a dvi-i and vga socket), and needless to say, i've not found one in england yet. but a week or so ago i got a hyundia Q17+, which has a dvi-d socket on the back. i wanted to know what the differance between the dvi types were, and if it was possible to connect a dvi-i to dvi-d without the need for an adaptor.

Basically -D = digital only, -I = integrated (Digital and Analog signals)

DVI to VGA adaptors are quite easy to find - about £2.50 plus vat plus delivery from a local supplier.
