Anyone heard about it before?

It was my first time to know it today.

Since some days I was attacked by a pop-up porno page. I tried to remove it by using Spybot and ad-aware. I also tried to scan my system by the antivirus Avast. Nothing worked.

I had to live with it till today. It seems to me sorted at last. Well, at least, I hadn't got it since I ran this very little program, some hours ago. It used to pop-up every about 15 minutes. As some hours now have passed without seeing it, I hope it's ok.

You can get it for free.

It doesn't need installation.

It's incredibly fast and efficient.

The last version seem to be:   CWShredder v 2.14  get it from here, or anywhere else you find it on the web:

I think, it's worthy to have it with spybot and ad-aware on our computers.   :)

Yes, I have heard of CoolWebShredder, Joudi, but fortunately have never had cause to use it.  My suggestion to you would be to run Ad Aware, Spybot, and CWS, all in Safe Mode, which will hopefully get rid of your unwanted pop up.  Also, it might pay to temporarily disable System Restore, before you boot into Safe Mode, as some spyware files can hide in there.  Then when you have cleaned your machine, get yourself Spyware Blaster, which might have prevented you from getting infected in the first place.

Seems my system is infected with the worm  Svchost32

I'm still trying to find solution to it.

Your suggestion Simon, probably will work, as I felt really that "CoolWebShredder" was efficient. I think it will work better in safe mode as you said.

Thank you Simon.

Doing a quick Google search for Svchost32, it does appear to be the CoolWebSearch hijacker / trojan, Joudi.  CWShredder in Safe Mode should do it.  I should add, that sometimes you need to run Spybot / Ad Aware several times, in Safe Mode, to get rid of persistant spyware.

CoolWebSearch is a particularly nasty trojan and very difficult to get rid of because the authors kept changing the code.  The CWShredder guys admitted that they couldn't keep up with them and announced around a year ago that they could not maintain the updates.  It may also be worth taking a look at http://www.x-raypc.com/
