« on: June 16, 2005, 03:40 »
One of the computers on my network has two user accounts

on one account the password has changed

on the other user account which did not have a password the computer has added a password

I have tried going in through safemode

but i cant get past the passwords at the welcome screen

Im thinking it has been hacked
but not sure cant get in to check anything

any suggestions would be apreciated

I came across this program the other day but havent heard of anyone that has actually used it so I dont know how complicated it is to use or how effective itis.
Unfortunately it is rather expensive  :(

Rather than reinstall windows Dave, could you not just delete the user accounts and create new ones.

I had other 2 user accounts on my pc and deleted them without having to re-install windows.

He cant get into either safe mode or normal windows to do that Lona  :(

I have just found this program which looks quite good and a lot cheaper than the other one I mentioned.
It seems that you can make a bootable floppy or cd  and just change it from in a DOS application  :)
