The problem: Getting the playstation 2 to access online gaming via my PC's broadband connection, using a network card.
I have a playstation 2 with network card, (that works fine, i've used it), connected via a (tested) switchover cable to the network card in my pc. Internet connection sharing is enable on my ample broadband connection, but and heres the issue... I now have windows xp and norton internet security (2005) which needs to be configured to allow the network setup to work.
What would the interface need...? TCP/IP something..? UDP.....?
I need to create a rule in nortons firewall setup to allow the connection i think, but can't figure out what to it is i should be allowing....!
windows firewall is off.
I have had a connection from the setup before, so it's a software issue. The ps2 network profile is fine as i have used it before, i have tried a new one, with no luck. None of the FAQ's help!
thanks in advance.
