Email to fax
« on: August 19, 2005, 16:04 »
Has anyone fooled here with sending email to fax? Ive looked at several apps and services but haven't found much that doesn't require paying out of pocket. At the shop we don't normally have a need for a fax machine but on the off occasion we do find the need its and urgent need.

Doesn't Windows have a built in fax machine?  Mine certainly does.  You have to enable it in Add / Remove Windows Components.

I used to use the Windows FAX all the way back to Win 95, but then I had to buy a stand alone machine.  This site may be of use Bob...

What about this site....

Never used it though - so not too sure how good it is.

The problem was that you had to leave your computer on in order to receive faxes.  The system worked very well apart from that.
