An excellant site if your are looking for a book and can't remember the name or author.

It's also good for out of print books as well. I managed to find books last Christmas that I had been searching everywhere for including amazon

Lona, (or anyone), have you found any book sites that offer decent discounts on new books?

Or try this one
www.hamiltonbook.com
I have bought books from them and got a very quick delivery even if they are in the states.

Thanks Lona. I don't need anything at the moment, but I'll bookmark them. In this area we have Sussex Stationers, who usually sell new hardbacks (rrp £16.99) for a tenner, and I've not found anywhere to beat that. Unfortunately, they're not online, so I have to go out!!

Lona, that booksite is amazing! Many years ago I lent my favourite book to someone and he didn't return it. It was hardly surprising really because he ended up in an American jail for quite a few years.
I've spent years looking for another copy and that site has one!! It's called "Stories for Tomorrow" by William F Sloane and its an anthology of science fiction short stories. I'm just about to buy it! Thank you SO much!

Glad to help Clive. That site is very reliable. I got great bargains for christmas last year. Books that I could not find anywhere in the shops as they were long out of print.
