Skype, the phone call via the internet company, has updated its software for Windows users.
The new Skype for Windows offers callers increased mobility options, new ways for callers to personalise Skype with original ringtones, sounds and pictures, better sound quality, and improved usability.
According to an independent study, Skype is used once or several times a day by 76 per cent of its callers.
More than 80 per cent of Skype's users use the service to communicate with people living abroad.
