Firefox 1.5 website display
« on: December 10, 2005, 22:10 »
I've been giving the new Firefox a trial run, and I notice that posts on here are displayed differently then when using Mozilla, or earlier versions of FF, notably, the width of posts seems to go by the size of member's avatars.  This is probably one for Sam, but although it's not necessarily a problem, it does make things look slightly less tidy, and I wondered if there was any reason for this?

I'm wondering if the difference you are seeing, Simon, is unique to Mozilla.

I have just opened this thread in Opera, read it, and then opened it in Firefox and it looks exactly the same in both browsers.

Otherwise, I may not have understood your question, because I have been to the pub to watch a Led Zeppelin tribute band and have had about eleven pints!

This thread does, Dave, but check out a thread where myself and Clive (or anyone else who doesn't have an avatar) has posted, and you should see the difference.  Threads in Mozilla look the same as they do in previous versions of FF, so it is just the new FF 1.5 which has had the effect.

probably the way it reads the css, when I get a chance I'll look into it. It really shouldnt change due to avatar size.
