Bat, I have the wireless version of the Vigor,  because Mrs Clive likes to use her laptop in the bath.   ;D  My PC's are hardwired into it though.  It's a very neat piece of equipment and seems to have a lot of advanced features for the price.  If you decide to order one, do so in plenty of time because they are all imported and I had to wait a couple of weeks for mine.

Thanks Clive,

might have to delay getting my extra 512Mb memory, and get the router instead. Pleased you're finding it reliable, as I'm very tempted to go with that one.

Did you get it mail order?

Well it'll be a good test to see how stable pipex is, if when I join them and good to wind up poor Simon  :baad:

Have to find a few sources for Vigor routers now, seems the more I look at the specs, the more I like that one ..... and it looks like it has a lot of flashy lights on too

Well it has arrived ... I'm now the proud owner of a Vigor 2600 ... now just need the ADSL connection ... trouble is, I can't seem to get the pipex site to sign up ... think AOL must be blocking it

I NEED it now   lol

Oh well done Bat!  Yes I had mine mail order too.  I would have replied to your question earlier (a week ago) but you must appreciate that I use BT Broadband so your post has only just filtered through.   ;D  Are you sure that Sean and Simon haven't hacked into your computer to prevent you signing up with Pipex?  You just can't trust anybody these days.   :heehee:

As if I would do that  ;) :heehee: :heehee:

I'm sure Simon will do his utmost to keep me away from Pipex ... I bet he's been in touch with AOL to ban that site  :P
