Full on muppetry here, but I am thinking of buying a 'desk station' accessory for my digital camera.  Thing is, if I get one from Amazon.com, which will come from the States, I can save at least 50% of the UK price - but will it work?  Something is telling me that there is likely to be a voltage compatability issue if I were to plug in into our mains - or have I got it wrong?

Most USA equipment seems to be dual voltage these days.

You would of course have to change the plug or use an adaptor.
