Mmm I think i may have confused you here Sandra, sorry.

When i said connection ligh i meant the light that shows the internet link/connection from the phone line is live. The actual power light on the modem is on constantly.

Will have a look and give it a go anyway.

Well it worked and remained connected overnight I couldnt find the options mentioned in power settings though.

Anyway fingers crossed  :)
