Ok have finally gone wirless but unfortunately for the moment just have the one desktop pc on the "network"

My question is about security which should i choose?

64 bit WEP, 128 bit WEP, WPA (with radius server) or WPA PSK (No server)?

And would there be any advantage in using McAfee Wireless home network security ?

I intend to be running 3 pc's on the network 2 desktops and a laptop.

Its a wireless "G" modem/router and kit.

I have run mine with 64 bit WEP for the last couple of years without any problems.

Its bad enough having a 10 hexadecimal code to type in, I think with 128 bit you end up with a 25 unit code :shock:

I havent used it myself so I dont really know on that one.
As long as WEP is enabled I think that you should be ok with that alone.

I suppose it depends on where you live as well.
Wi Fi has a limited range so if you are in the middle of a field then you probably wouldnt need WEP at all whereas if youre in a block of flats then lots of people would be within range of your router.
