I think I mentioned a little while ago that Google Sketchup is much cheaper

It's also very user friendly and there are loads of free online tutorials plus resources.

Indeed, Sam, and it does make you wonder, if it wasn't so expensive, whether more people might actually buy it, rather than seeking it out by other means.

yes.. but i bet there main income is from business users and i bet they dont officially but do quite accept these other means as it means users become familiar with their tools and then businesses will buy it.
