Spot on, Lona!  I take back everything I said about anyone north of the border knowing bugger-all about good taste.   ;)

I haven't heard Dedication - that was after Bruce Springsteen re-discovered him in the early '80's.  Bonds is an acquired taste for certain.  :D
You haven't?   :o

I actually bought it because of his cover of the Jackson Browne track 'The Pretender', but was soon won over by the quality of the whole thing.  Springsteen actually didn't do a bad job with it if the truth were known.  I've now ordered a used copy of the 2CD (remastered) compilation of 'Dedication' and follow-up 'On the Line' from here,  so should soon be able to stick the second album in my ear as well.

Purely an observation, but what a coincidence that both Springsteen and Browne also feature on 'Black & White Night'.  Maybe it's an omen, or something...

I have just watched a doumentary I recorded last night on BBC 4 called Hotel California from the Byrds to the Eagles.

It covered the music scene in Los Angeles from the mid 60s to the mid 70s.

Artists featured included Carole King, Joni Mitchel, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, Jackson Browne, The Byrds and the Eagles and many more.

The programme is repeated this evening (wednesday 10th) on BBC 4 at 1am to 2-30am (maybe thats Thursday 11th morning if we are being really pedantic)
Worth staying up for if you dont have to get up to go to work or set your VCR, DVD or PC to record it  :)

Also on BBC 4 from 8-30 to 9pm definately this evening (wednesday 10th) In Concert : a 1970 concert by Crosby and Nash, no mention of Stills or Young but that may be a misprint in my TV mag.

Even I haven't a clue about most of them!  There are some I recognise, and it will be interesting to check out some of the others, but I'm still well into The Black Parade at the moment, and nothing yet I have heard since has touched it, playability wise.

well I'm sure that you might like a couple of songs on the other ablums at the least, so well worth a listen to... they all have myspace pages with tracks to listen to...

I would strongly urge anyone thinking of installing Limewire to read this security advisory - if only the first paragraph - before doing so.
