It does have the 4 pin connection for P4, but when plugged in nothing boots up. If i leave it unplugged all boots up well.

I have spoken to the retailer who are going to change the motherboard for me....I have told them I want it built and tested before I get it back. grrrrr  >:-)

Thats definately not right  ::)

Hopefully they will replace it with a mobo that works properly.

They have agreed to change it for this motherboard

ASUS P5VD2-X - looks like a good motherboard, and hope this one won't be as much trouble!! Will let you know how I get on.
