External Hard Drive
« on: March 08, 2007, 20:39 »
Ive just installed a Freecom external harddrive.

I also use Diskeeper Defragger-my question is will Diskeeper defrag the external harddrive?

I realise of course that I will have to have it switched on, or will I have to use Windows Defragger? Dont know a lot about external harddrives Im afraid!

It shouldn't be necessary, for a while anyway, but does Diskeeper detect the Freecom, when it's connected?

Thanks Guys-

I tested Diskeeper, and it does recognise the drive, so I could defrag if I wanted to. As Sam says, probably not much point, as its only a storage drive.
