I think that we perceive Google to be a good force whereas Microsoft and Yahoo are evil forces just out for themselves.  Maybe Google markets itself in a more friendly manner.   ;D

Google was one of the first things I was taught, if I needed to find out about anything, just google it.
It has been invaluable for me.
I do have a Yahoo account but rarely use it.

Google is slowly turning into an evil empire too. I don't like the records they store away on my searching habits. Google should be a tool for searching, NOT a tool for spying.

Yes, the more Google tries to take over the world, the more I become wary of it.  It's getting to the stage where your whole life could be run by Google, if you let it.
