usb phones...
« on: June 02, 2007, 15:30 »
I wondered if any of you have come across anything about usb phones on vista, in particular ones that use the skywin application for skype? I know skype isnt supported (offically for vista) but it works fine (with a mic, not the phone!).. just not the drivers for the phones... any link would be appreciated, I haven't found much of use on google searches (yet). Obviously its not for my system (my parents) as I dont have any confidence in vista (or the inclination to ditch xp, when I use microsoft that is)

Can you not install the drivers in XP compatability mode Sam  :dunno:

Not sure if you can get that option like you can with programs though.

no it appears that you can't.... I think quite a few people are having these problems but I think the majority of users might be getting confused by the fact that skype (sopposidely) doenst work properly. I'm gonna have another play later today, I'll let you know if I get anywhere.
