The top 10 films are:

Where's , "Taxi Driver" or 'The deer hunter", but overall i think both lists are pretty good

It's all a matter of personal taste really, isn't it.

There are movies I love purely because of an actors performance, I'll watch anything with William Hurt in it. John Malkovich is another favourite, I loved Dangerous Liaisons and having Glenn Close in it was a bonus.
Edward Norton is brilliant as well.

And because this is a british forum, I love Dame Judy Dench, and no one does sarcasm like Alan Rickman he's amazing. And another brilliant actor is Bill Nighy, The Girl in the Cafe, wonderful.

I only remember "Alan Rickman" from "Die hard", :embarassed:, i think "Michael Caine" is the best British actor

Haven't you seen any of the Harry Potter movies?  Alan Rickman is Professor Severus Snape, and performs him brilliantly.

I always thought "Harry Potter movies" were kids movies so i never bothered watching them.

Alan Rickman is certainly one of my favourite actors, along with Viggo Mortensen and Johnny Depp.  He first came to prominence with Juliet Stevenson in 'Truly Madly Deeply', one of the films I mentioned earlier.  If you haven't seen it, it's worth hunting down.

I can't wait for the next Harry Potter movie to come out.  And then I'll be incommunicado for a couple of days when "The Deathly Hallows" is published.

Yes, me too.  There's nothing like a good "kids book" to keep you amused for a few days.  The only thing with HP novels, is having to race through them, before you accidentally hear or read what happens elsewhere.
