faceplate
« on: August 15, 2007, 16:54 »
does anyone use one of those faceplate adapters you can get that have the filter built in instead of the dangly ones.

have been thinking of changing mine and was looking at one of these http://www.clarity.it/xcart/product.php?productid=16134&cat=262&page=1 which was reccomended to me. supposed to be very good. can also be hardwired via a modified bit on the back if you need to

thanks

Yes, I use one.  Got mine from somewhere like B&Q I think.  It isn't an official BT branded one, but it works perfectly well.  I had to ask someone to fit it for me, because you need a special tool to wire it up, but luckily, a neighbour used to be a BT engineer, so he did it for me for a couple of pints.
