Topic: How to keep numlock enabled on boot

My boyfriend's new laptop (second hand) doesn't start up with numlock enabled as he would like it.

I've had a look on line, and it seems it need to be changed in the registry - I don't really like to do this, so does anyone know of another way?

Maybe a dumb question, Michelle, but does he have a numeric keypad - most lappies don't?

dont know about lappys but isnt it usually in the bios set up?

not sure if in bios - yes it is numeric keypad
