Misco have the Sandisk range:

http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=2647&

1GB - £6.99, 2GB - £10.99, 4GB - £19.99. They also have a no-name 8GB model at £39.99.

I've also found PNY to be OK, but Toshiba to be slow.

It ought to be OK, Samsung make a lot of the chips other people use anyway (not to mention TFT panels). 7DayShop is OK as a supplier but delivery can be a bit slow.

If you like running stuff from the jumpdrive, look at this one. Normally I would just go down to the local department store and pick up a 512 3 pack for $25. Unless your really looking for massive storage or plug and run applications the cheap sticks are all you need.

Hi Mo

Nice to see you here too. If we cross paths a couple of times more, we can knit a cat's cradle. ;)

No, I haven't visited FF much in the last few months ermmm.
It seems to have lost the old relaxed fun we had there when we started it.
Do you remember that Xmas when I played Santa Claus, trying to get down your blocked chimney?
And you played up to it!
I haven't laughed as much before or since!!

Seems to be only a few people all taking themselves too seriously and trying to impress, these days.
But I still look in now and again.

@ Rik Bean;   :chub: Look m8, I know I'm gettin' old, but I am alright on my own, really!!
Whaddya think of Simons forum then?  Good innit?

Mo  ;D

Hi Mo!   :D

I share your views on the FF forums about people taking things too seriously, especially since I didn't join the ISP, and it's one reason why I'm very glad I chose IDNet.  :)

Nice to see you both here.  PC Pals is turning into an interforum gateway!   ;D

I certainly do remember it Santa  ;D ;D ;D ;D  blimey  seems like ages ago.

bet people thought we were mad :)   isnt it weird though how people 'meet up' in different ways on t'internet.. of all the forums/sites to visit you find someone you have 'met' before on another. its like when I 'invited' myself ;) here from a link by Simon, after a few days some of the names looked familiar then Simon pointed out that they were from the old forum  and  that I used to go in too.........amazing

talking of xmas    I saw a local shop with some selection boxes in t'other day :o :o :o     HAVENT EVEN GOT PASSED HALLOWEEN YET!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY XMAS ALL  :woot: :woot:  :xmas:

Yeah, I know what you mean, Baz.  I only ever posted in that one thread, so I didn't get a proper feel for it, but it did seem to turn slightly cold when I announced I wasn't joining.  :(
