Yes, well I know someone who bought a Vista computer back last April and has now given up on computers altogether because she has experienced so many problems.  I think I'll skip this version and stick with XP.   ;D

TBH, I don't find it at all bad, but then it came on a new laptop.  I think people using it on older computers may have problems.

I also got it with a new computer which had the spec to run it around march time and i've had no problems and found it has some good features XP didnt have.

I agree with simon and most problems will come from systems that haven't got the spec to run it properly which unfortunately is a lot of good PC's  [wtf]

I dont agree that it only runs on newer machines.

I started running it last november on an AMD Athlon 2100 XP cpu based pc with 768mb DDR ram.
It only had an old GeForce MX 440 agp card so I couldnt use the "aero" desktop features but other than that it ran fine.

I think that operator errors are more to blame for people not liking Vista rather than the actual OS itself  :)

Good point Sandra, I'm worried about installing it as I don't know what I'm doing.   :dunno:
