The lobotomy still scares me - it's just over 40 years ago they were using it, yet it belonged in the 16th C if anywhere...

People still kill in the name of their god/s and hold back scientific advances for everyone Rik, those practices have long outlasted their usefulness  ::)

True enough, Sandra. There was one lobotomist, whose name thankfully escapes me, who specialised in performing two operations simultaneously - a sort of party piece. To this day electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) is used despite the fact that no-one really knows how it works. The treatment of mental health is still quite primitive.
