Hi there  :welcome:

WoW that is some list ... I'll have to get back to you ... this will take a little time to work on

Most DVD drives will do .. these days its easy to pick up a 16x speed DVD ROM .. and quite cheaply

Heavy graphics and the latest games will require a new more upto date card, this will depend entirely upon what you want to run

Need to research a little bit now :o

Hi varunknockout :welcome:

Sorry to take so long replying to you, you have quite a list of questions there.

You are right in thinking that your current PC will not run some of the high-performing graphics applications, although it should be OK for running Windows XP.

Your preferred processor and motherboard should cope with your requirements more than adequately. I would also recommend that you upgrade your memory to at least 512MB, more if you intend to manipulate large images in Photoshop.

To find sources for your list of software, I would start with Google. You can usually find any software you are looking for using this search engine.

I would also use Google to find local suppliers for the hardware that you require.

Hope this helps  :)
