Sorry for late replies, I've been away with work all week then had the dreaded flu
I used the latest drivers when I installed the card as it was new, (7.12) i was told it's rare but it has happened that 7.12 caused that particular error, so i rolled back to 7.11 and sorted
cheers for the help! Oh as for the screen like ripple etc, the manufacture told me to rma it, i did and that's sorted now, they said it was screen tearing and corruption due to a fault card!
