UPnP
« on: February 14, 2008, 01:55 »
ok, so I guess my UPnP has filled up and I need to reset it for my bittorrent client.  The only problem is that this was a loner modem and they changed the password and username and I can't get to the site to reset it.  Is there anything I can do?  I know that I can choose to disable my UPnP port forwarding on my bittorrent client, but won't that greatly hinder my download and upload speed?  Thx, you guys are the best!

If its only a modem then you wont have any port forwarding on it.
It will be your PCs firewall ports that you need to open up.

If its a modem router then you should be able to reset it to its factory settings by using the reset button.
You may need to look on the makers site for how to do a factory reset and to find out the default username and password.
