Okay I know I am so useless at this and probably asked before (so i am sorry if so) but can you please tell me if I can use nero to copy a homemade dvd-r to cd-r (the files on the dvd-r are listed as audio ts and video ts) I thought I had worked out how to do it but it keeps coming up with an error.

Will the files on the DVD fit on a CD, Michelle? Don't forget, CDs have much less storage capacity than a DVD.

If you have the correct media, it should just be a straightforward DVD Copy, Michelle.

When in Nero, Michelle, you only have to drag over the VideoTS folder from the disc you are copying from and then hit burn. Make sure it's a dvd video you select and not a dvd iso

All CDs are read-only. I take it it is referring to the source CD? Possibly it's got some form of copy protection on it. IAC, weren't you copying a DVD?

If it's a home made DVD-R, it shouldn't have any copy protection on it, Michelle. Just open Nero SmartStart, and select Copy DVD. It should be straightforward from then on.
