Nero?
« on: March 07, 2008, 19:05 »
Okay I know I am so useless at this and probably asked before (so i am sorry if so) but can you please tell me if I can use nero to copy a homemade dvd-r to cd-r (the files on the dvd-r are listed as audio ts and video ts) I thought I had worked out how to do it but it keeps coming up with an error.  ???

Will the files on the DVD fit on a CD, Michelle?  Don't forget, CDs have much less storage capacity than a DVD.

If you have the correct media, it should just be a straightforward DVD Copy, Michelle.  :)

When in Nero, Michelle, you only have to drag over the VideoTS folder from the disc you are copying from and then hit burn.  Make sure it's a dvd video you select and not a dvd iso

All CDs are read-only. I take it it is referring to the source CD? Possibly it's got some form of copy protection on it. IAC, weren't you copying a DVD?  ???

If it's a home made DVD-R, it shouldn't have any copy protection on it, Michelle.  Just open Nero SmartStart, and select Copy DVD.  It should be straightforward from then on.  :)
