Topic: Senior Citizens

A group of senior citizens were exchanging notes about their ailments.

"My arm is so weak I can hardly hold this coffee cup."

"Yes, I know. My cataracts are so bad I can't see to pour the coffee."

"I can't turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck."

"My blood pressure pills make my dizzy."

"I guess that's the price we pay for getting old."

"Well, it's not all bad. We should be thankful that we can still drive."

There most certainly is Rik!

My father used to belong to a pensioner's dining club. The 86 year old who drove him there had never taken a test, had no idea what a roundabout was, and thought that drink driving was just fine.

There are a lot of them around here.  Some are so low down in the car seat that they have to look through the steering wheel to see the road!

If I see a driver in a cloth cap, I back off to a safe distance and watch carefully.

I do the same for any hat wearing drivers, as they are all trouble!  What's the point of wearing a hat while driving anyway?  Especially when they take it off when they leave the car!

It's a duvet for their brains?

I usually only wear mine if I'm out in the garden or if I'm away on a sunny holiday.  I really don't enjoy wearing one.

I didn't see the problem with drink driving either, it was only when I want a cigarette as well.

You know it doesn't make sense to drink and drive... you might spill it.

Exactly, it it's so much harder with a drink in one hand, and a cigarette in the other. Steering with your knees is fine in an automatic, but gets a little tricky in a manual.
