Safe computing:

You can buy Antivirus software from any computer store, and it’s not expensive. My personal favourite is Norton’s 2002, but McAfee is also very good.

Of course, I'd recommend people to steer well clear of both Norton & McAfee, but that's a separate issue.

Which took an hour to remove.

I never managed to remove all of Norton from my old PC, but there was little enough left not to do any harm.
