BT launches podcast network
« on: May 13, 2008, 12:52 »
BT has launched a new online network hosting more than a million hours' worth of podcasts.

The content on BT Podshow can be listened to on your PC or downloaded to an MP3 player.

You can even upload your own content and build a network of friends on the BT Podshow website as well as listen to shows in several different topic areas such as music, gaming, personal advice and comedy.

If you're overwhelmed by the amount of content there is also a show called Podfinder UK, hosted by Josephine Laurence, that picks out the best podcasts on the network.

Adam Curry, president of BT PodShow said: "The BT PodShow network has a broad range of programming to suit every taste. Audiences can view online at any time, or choose to subscribe for automatic download to their iPods."

Signing up to the BT Podshow network is free.

More strain on ever decreasing bandwidth.  You'd think BT would get the existing networks upgraded fully, before launching new challenges for it.

I can't imagine that layout appealing to people with a mental age above sixteen.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.
